Mounting 27 mac .dmg files at once
I was just clearing out my downloads folder and I stupidly double clicked on a selection of about 27 mac application .dmg files. I was sure my laptop (macbook pro mk1 2.16GHz/1gb RAM) would slow down or even crash but no, it just mounted all 27 images without any slowdown at all.
Even taking screenshots of the process didn’t bother it.

The only real change to my laptop was that the fans started to spin up a little bit more than usual.
This macbook pro never fails to impress me. Even after over a year of solid use it still performs as well as it did the first day I got it.
